The useful part, first
- Use photos attached to your own order when checking that item.
- A size label, body chart and flat garment measurement are different evidence.
- Ask for the view or measurement that would change your decision.
1. Match the exact item before inspecting details
Save the original product URL, selected color, size, quantity and order reference. Compare them with the photos attached to your order. Begin with the overall front and back views, then check visible labels and the detail that distinguishes your chosen version. If there is a mismatch, ask about it before arranging international shipping.
Catalog previews help identify a candidate. Historical photos belong to another purchase unless the service explicitly ties them to yours. Do not combine different buyers’ photos into an imagined inspection of one item. This site’s product images are catalog previews; we have not bought or independently inspected these products.

2. Check what the size chart actually measures
Nike labels its men’s tops chart as body measurements. That is a useful example of why a chart heading matters: a body chest circumference is not a flat garment width. Nike also distinguishes the CM value on shoe labels from measured foot length. These brand-specific references do not establish the fit of a source-catalog listing.
For clothing, compare a garment you already like with the seller’s measurements, using the same starting points and units. Record where the tape begins, where it ends and whether the item is laid flat without stretching. For sleeves, ask whether the measurement starts at the shoulder seam or another point. A size letter alone cannot resolve those differences.
Nike: men’s tops body-measurement chart3. Turn a vague fit question into a comparison
As an invented example, your preferred hoodie measures 58 cm across the chest and 70 cm in body length. An order photo, taken with the same method, shows 57 cm and 68 cm. Write the differences as “1 cm narrower across the chest; 2 cm shorter in length.” That is more useful than asking whether both garments called L must fit the same.
This arithmetic does not predict comfort, shrinkage or how a garment hangs. Check that the entire tape and its zero point are readable, and that the chosen endpoints match your reference. If a view is unclear, ask whether another measurement or photo is available and what it costs before requesting it. The official warehousing help describes additional measurement photos, but it does not establish a universal free allowance or availability for every order.
| Product | Useful visible check | What to clarify |
|---|---|---|
| Shoes | Both shoes, size labels and chosen colorway | Which measurement is supplied and how it was taken |
| Hoodie or T-shirt | Front/back, selected graphic and tape endpoints | Flat width, body length and sleeve method |
| Bag | Exterior/interior, hardware and included pieces | Dimensions, strap measurement and selected variant |
4. Record what is known and what is still missing
Use three headings in your notes: matches the order, needs clarification, and cannot be established from photos. Put unreadable measurements, obscured details or a possible variant mismatch under clarification. Ask a focused question such as “Please confirm the chest-width endpoints for this size,” with the order reference in the account’s support channel.
Photos can help you inspect visible condition and details; this checklist does not authenticate a branded item or test its material, durability, smell or protective performance. An entry described as QC checked on a directory is not a substitute for evidence about your item. Keep any decision about returning, changing or shipping it with the current terms shown for that order.
A Reddit discussion raising fit concerns prompted this guide. It is an unverified personal account, not a product test or a measurement standard. The comparison process here is our editorial recommendation, supported by clearly labeled measurement references rather than forum size-up rules.

5. Request a view that resolves one question
USFans lists additional detail and local-measurement photos among its warehousing services, both at product-order and after-stocking stages. Check availability and the current charge for your order. A parcel photo before or after sealing answers a packing question, rather than documenting a garment measurement.
These are editable request examples. Replace the bracketed details and use the service’s private order channel. Copying a request does not send it, place an order or authorize a fee. Ask for a quote first if the charge has not been agreed.
Clothing: readable flat measurements
Order: [private reference], [size / color]. Please confirm availability and the total charge before proceeding. Could you photograph the item laid flat without stretching, with the tape zero and both endpoints visible? Requested measurements: chest width [armpit to armpit], body length [specified starting point to hem], sleeve [specified starting point to cuff], in cm. Please clarify any measurement method that differs from these endpoints.
Shoes: match the pair and selected variant
Order: [private reference], [size / colorway]. Please confirm availability and any charge first. Could you provide a clear view of both shoes together, the size labels and [the specific detail in question]? If a measurement is offered, please state what is being measured, its units and endpoints. I am checking the selected variant and visible condition.
Bag: dimensions and included pieces
Order: [private reference], [selected variant]. Please confirm availability and any charge first. Could you show the exterior, interior, [specific hardware] and included strap/accessories? Requested measurements: [width / height / depth / strap], in cm with readable endpoints. Please state whether the bag is empty or filled for the measurement.
Keep this with your notes
Before you move on
- Order reference, item link, size and color match.
- Photos relate to the item being considered.
- Measurements use known units and matching endpoints.
- Tape zero point and full span are readable.
- Missing evidence and service availability are clarified.
- Any next step uses the terms for this specific order.
Questions & answers
Should I always size up when using a USFans spreadsheet?
Use measurements and the exact listing rather than a universal size-up rule. Compare the same measurement method with a garment or footwear reference you understand.
Do QC photos prove authenticity or long-term quality?
This guide does not treat photos as authentication or a durability test. They help evaluate the visible details they actually show.
Are extra photos or measurements always free?
We have not verified that. Confirm availability, the current charge and exactly what will be supplied before requesting a service.
